Ed Burns – Lead Pastor
Ed has been the Lead Pastor at Journey Church since it began in 2009. He was born and raised here in Moses Lake, but went on to pastor in Oregon, Washington and Idaho before returning “home.” As a teenager, who attended Moses Lake High School, the Lord captured his heart. Since Jesus has changed his life, he is inspired to help others experience the Jesus who transformed him. He’s married to his beautiful wife of 40 years, Judy. He is also dad to two adult children and “Papa” (grandpa) to five.
Sherri Kasparek – Café Team
Sherri is a lifetime resident of Moses Lake. Sherri works at Alsted Real Estate and has been there since 1992. She is married to Greg Kasparek, who is also a Realtor. They raise sheep to sell to local kids for 4H/FFA projects. They enjoy camping, horseback riding and fishing. Sherri has a hobby shop at Attic Shops in Moses Lake called Desert Beads where she makes handcrafted jewelry and sells antiques and collectibles. Greg and Sherri have four children. She loves leading the Café Team and helping people feel welcome by feeding them!
Ciela Burruss - Journey Kids Director
Ciela was born and raised in Moses Lake. She is a wife to Brent and a mother of three boys (Jaxton, Greyson and Sawyer). She has her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and loves spending time with her family. She has a passion for watching young children grow up with a love for Jesus! Ciela also loves walks with her boys, Red Bull Italian sodas and the summertime!
